I haven't written in here for ages. I'm writing in here because we have to do an evaluation for our ad. Ok so here goes......

I think we made a pretty good effort on our ad overall. It was simple but clear. Ok so I have to go now...... I have to go to the other Media room to watch the ads on a big screen

Hello. Well once again I'm going to write about what we did in Media today. Well Erin did the website, and I tried to do some editing on Photoshop, but it didn't turn out too well because I have no idea how to use it. I tried other various programs such as Paint, but it didn't really work either. So pretty much we are going to leave the photos as they are. Well yes time for me to log off now.

Today in Media we..........

Today Erin and I were going to take some photos, but the cameras weren't working properley. So we came back to the computer room and now we are doing this. Anyway, since I have nothing else to write, I'll write about my weekend. So on Saturday morning I went to Matamata to watch my sisters soccer. Ok I'm already bored of writing about this so I'll stop. Yesterday we finished the advertisement for our product. After this we looked at web site designs and chose a fun coloured purple design. Today we will start our actual product. We tjhought a complete dictuionary would take just too long to put all the pages together, so we bought a regular german dictionary. We plan to make some alterations to this dictionary eg. covers. We aslo want to have our logo in colour so Pip is copying it and printing it off tonight.

Today in Media Erin and I worked on our product planning. I almost completed the logo, but couldn't decide whether the monkey should have a girly appearance. So I might make it at home and bring it to school on a floppy disc. Erin steadily worked on our advertisement using Publisher. Ok now I'll anwer the questions.

1. What are the elements in your ads and why have you chosen them?

-Well, I'm creating the logo. Through the survey results we incorporated the answers into our product. Pink was the favourite clolour, language the favourite subject, and monkey the favourite animal. So we are doing a bright pink language dictionary with a monkey as a logo.

2.How have you found using Publisher to create the ad? which functions worked well and which functions were difficult to use?

- Erin is doing the ad and I am doing the logo. When I have finished the logo I will help Erin.

3.What have you learned about using any of the programs you've used to create this ad? eg. Paint, Word, Photoshop or Publisher.

- I've used word and paint to create the logo. In word I discovered some new techniques with pictures including cropping, set transperant colour etc.

4.Has the magazine ad been hard/ok/easy? have you learned nothing/a little/ quite a bit/ heaps.

It has been easy. I learned a fair bit over the past couple of weeks.
